2 What are the benefits of parents reading books to their children? (advantages/benefits)

Children first learn to speak from their parents. So if parents set aside a regular slot of time to read to their children, then their children will learn to articulate their thoughts and feelings better. They also will become more fluent and eloquent in their speech.

Every so often, children would imitate their parents’ behaviour, so they would plausibly develop a good reading habit when they see their parents reading books to them. (73w)

孩子们首先跟父母学习说话。因此，如果父母留出一段固定的时间给孩子阅读，那么他们的孩子就会学会更好地表达自己的想法和感受。他们的讲话也会变得更加流畅和雄辩。

孩子们常常会模仿父母的行为，所以当他们看到父母给他们读书时，他们似乎会养成良好的阅读习惯。
