8. Where is your hometown?
B1 Model Answer:
My hometown is Guangzhou. I don’t like to live here because it is very crowded. I wish there are fewer people here.
我一辈子都住在广州，我可以说这是我的家乡，但我已经开始讨厌这个繁忙的城市了。有时我希望我的家乡在郊区。
B2 Model Answer:
I have been living in Guangzhou my entire life, I could indeed say this is my hometown, but I’ve grown to dislike this busy city. Sometimes I wish my hometown is in the suburbs.
我一辈子都住在广州，我可以说这是我的家乡，但我已经开始讨厌这个繁忙的城市了。有时我希望我的家乡在郊区。
C1 Model Answer:
I’ve been living here my entire life. I could certainly say this is my hometown. But as a local, I’ve grown to dislike this hustle and bustle city. How I wish my hometown is in the suburbs.
