From the 2022 AEIS, we will no longer offer the English test for international students seeking admission into our primary schools. Your child must take the relevant Cambridge English Qualifications (CEQ) test run by Cambridge Assessment English (CAE), and meet or exceed the required scores before they register for the AEIS-Primary Mathematics test.

There is no change in format for the AEIS Secondary School Students tests requirements.

1. Overview 概述

The Admissions Exercise for International Students (AEIS) is for international students seeking admissions to Primary 2 to 5 and Secondary 1 to 3 in the following academic year.

Applicants who are interested to take part in the AEIS will have to create their individual accounts in the Candidates Portal (CP) before applying for the AEIS tests.

*Important information for overseas applicants

MOE will not issue permits for entry into Singapore for applicants to sit for the AEIS tests. You should submit an application only if the applicant is able to enter Singapore. You may refer to the Singapore Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) websites for the latest travel and health measures.
