Your child should sit for the test appropriate for their age. Select your child’s intended education level to see the tests available. If your child is seeking admission to a primary school, they must:

Take the relevant paper-based Cambridge English Qualifications (CEQ) test run by Cambridge Assessment English (CAE).

1 The test must be taken within 12 months before the month of submission of their AEIS application. For example, if you are submitting your child’s AEIS application in July 2022, they must have taken the CEQ test in or after August 2021.
