Your child must generally be of the age listed below as at 1 January in the year of admission.

7 – 7+ years 岁 = For entry to Primary 2 为入二年级
• CEQ test to sit for: A2 Key for Schools
• Required CES score: 100 and above
• AEIS test to apply for: Pri 2 Math
• Content tested: Pri 1 Math
• Possible outcomes可能的结果: Pri 2, Pri 1 or unsuccessful
8 – 8+ years 岁 = For entry to Primary 3 为入三年级
• CEQ test to sit for: A2 Key for Schools
• Required CES score: 120 and above
• AEIS test to apply for: Pri 3 Math
• Content tested: Pri 2 Math
• Possible outcomes 可能的结果: Pri 3, Pri 2, Pri 1 or unsuccessful
9 – 9+ years 岁 = For entry to Primary 4 为入四年级
• CEQ test to sit for: A2 Key for Schools
• Required CES score: 130 and above
• AEIS test to apply for: Pri 4 Math
• Content tested: Pri 3 Math
• Possible outcomes 可能的结果: Pri 4, Pri 3, Pri 2 or unsuccessful
10 – 10+ years 岁 = For entry to Primary 5 为入五年级
• CEQ test to sit for: B1 Preliminary for Schools
• Required CES score: 140 and above
• AEIS test to apply for: Pri 5 Math
• Content tested: Pri 4 Math
• Possible outcomes 可能的结果: Pri 5, Pri 4, Pri 3 or unsuccessful
11 – 11+ years 岁 = For entry to Primary 5 为入五年级
• CEQ test for IS to sit for: B1 Preliminary for Schools
• Required CES score: 140 and above
• AEIS test to apply for: Pri 5 Math
• Content tested: Pri 4 Math
• Possible outcomes 可能的结果: Pri 5, Pri 4 or unsuccessful
12 – 12+ years 岁 = For entry to Primary 5 为入五年级
• CEQ test to sit for: B1 Preliminary for Schools
• Required CES score: 140 and above

For Admission to Secondary School
12 – 14+ years old 岁 为入初一
• Test to apply for: Sec 1
• Content tested: Pri 6
• Possible outcomes 可能的结果: Sec 1 or unsuccessful
13 – 15+ years old 岁 为入初二
• Test to apply for: Sec 2
• Content tested: Sec 1
• Possible outcomes 可能的结果: Sec 2 or unsuccessful
14 – 16+ years old岁 为入初三
• Test to apply for: Sec 3
• Content tested: Sec 2
• Possible outcomes 可能的结果: Sec 3 or unsuccessful
*Your child should not be more than 2 years older than the appropriate age for that level.
